Day 1 SFO or LAX / BEIJING
Board Air China or China Eastern Airlines' wide body 747 jetliner for Beijing. Cross the Int'l Date Line and lose a day.
Day 2 ARRIVE BEIJING
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China, transfer to Five-star Wanda Realm Beijing Hotel or similar.

Day 3 BEIJING (AB, L)
Late departure today, we will visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven, an imperial complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.
Day 4 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Excursion to the spectacular Great Wall a 4,000-mile-long rampart built over several centuries to keep out the invading Mongols. After lunch visit the Jade carving Factory, then Drive by Beijing Olympic National Stadium, "Bird's Nest" . Enjoy your Beijing Duck Banquet in the evening

Day 5 BEIJING / YICHANG (AB, L, D)
Visiting Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowager Ci Xi in the morning. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport to fly to Yichang. After arrival, dinner before board the five-star Yangtze No: 2 Cruiser approved by the National Tourism Administration of China or similar class.

Day 6 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
Depart from Yichang at 7:00AM. Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site around 9:00AM, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. Continue sailing through the Xiling Gorge, the longest section of the Three Gorges system. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party hosted by the captain.
Day 7 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
This morning we will board smaller boats for a trip up to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains as you pass through the Wu Gorge. Continue to the last of the Three Gorges, Qutang Gorge.
Day 8 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to the mysterious Ghost City, Fengdu. Go and explore how ancient Chinese people view their death and rebirth in giant carvings and sculpture. Enjoy a farewell banquet in the evening.

Day 9 CHONGQING / LHASA (B, L, D)
Our cruise concludes as we arrive in Chongqing. Have a city tour and go to see the Panda Zoo. Take flight to the holy city of Lhasa, the capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet, locked away in its mountain fortress of the Himalayas. You will be at leisure this evening at the hotel with time to relax and adjust to the high altitude. Check into 4 Stars Tibet Hotel Lhasa or similar.

Day 10 LHASA (AB, L, D)
Today's sightseeing includes the overwhelming Potala Palace, home to the Dalai Lama, the Bakuo Street, and the Jokhang Temple, built in 647 by Songtsen Gampo and has a history of more than 1300 years.

Day 11 LHASA (B, L, D)
Full day sightseeing of Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and the Norbulingka Park.
Day 12 LHASA / XIAN (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer from hotel to Gongga airport. Take flight to Xi'an. Check into the downtown located Luxury Grand Noble Hotel or similar.

Day 13 XIAN (AB, L, D)
A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi'an, as we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8000 lifelike Terra-Cotta Soldiers. Afternoon, visit the Ancient City Wall. Top off the day with Dumpling Dinner, followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!
Day 14 XI'AN / SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Take flight to Shanghai, a world-known cosmopolitan city in China. Visit the Museum of Art and History and the Silk Factory in the afternoon. Enjoy Acrobatic show at night. Check into the Five-star Four Point by Sheraton Shanghai Daning or similar.

Day 15 SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Today's sightseeing introduces the major attractions, which includes Bund along Shanghai's waterfront of the city, Yuyuan Garden. Enjoy free shopping activities at Nanjing Road in the afternoon. Coach will pick you up for dinner and then back to the hotel.
Day 16 SHANGHAI / SFO or LAX (AB)
Fly home on board Air China or China Eastern Airlines' wide body jetliner.
